Even though Stryder was 700-something years old, and Al is 800-something years old, they haven’t spent that much time ON EARTH and the Underworld is a completely different society.

Stryder is basically a novice at Being Human, and whatever reason he had for jumping into the Void, he has found himself in a human body and with a BOND to a human who is … decent. This was unnerving. Al, on the other hand, has been here before and he kinda knows what he’s doing.
