Yeah, that's in and around page 48. Not sure how it could be tweaked though. It's pretty clear on re-reading that he just ran out of wick.

I gotcha - that line was intended to be delivered in a lighthearted "Aw maaaan, we're outta ice cream", this is a minor annoyance sort of way, but I'll probably tweak it now that I know it could be misconstrued!

I'm still torn between him getting Finley back, because he cheated, or him getting the Incubus who was his 'pal' that one time. Neither of which would be optimal of course.

AH! It seemed to me like they would apply pressure of some kind, from the way he was acting. In the first appearance, he makes a noise as if his wicks had suddenly burned shorter than he expected, which made me think that being OBSERVED by seers was somehow making them burn faster. Kind of like the inverse of a watched pot.

That section is in the not-yet-redrawn part. When you get around to redrawing you might adjust that a tiny bit? (yeah that's in the future, I know.)

Ah, I think there's a key part here that wasn't made clear enough - Seers can detect a Collector's aura because of the pain in their withered limb, but they can't exorcise them. Back when Malthus showed up during the Clairy Mission, he burned away not because Kaiko or Eveline did something to him, but because he knew they'd eventually detect where he was, and he didn't want any other exorcists coming by to save the day and ruin his party!
We're not done with Seers in this story though, so I'm hoping the more interactions I get to show with them the clearer that will be. As far as weapons go - think of them as tools requiring a demon-shaped battery. Seers just don't have enough demonic aura to make that work! ( ᐛ )و
