Maybe is A for… animalistic. Maybe the A class isn’t so much bigger and stronger as they are uncontrollable. So is in control of himself m, but imagine if someone as old and strong as him worked purely on instinct and aggression? No holding back. No mercy. Would also explain why they killed their own kind? Just a theory.

Here and I had thought it was something more above-and-beyond the B class the same way B class are above and beyond C class.

Which is not to say that they aren’t but Lucifer would have to be a DICK to do that kind of thing. Unless they’re like firewerewolfs or something.

They are indeed the A-class demons! Fire hell-hounds, to be exact – a creature the exorcists had never seen the likes of before and had no idea how to fight.

Are those among the A-classes? Or some other kind of demons?
